The Syrian army troops repulsed the ISIL militants’ attack against their strongholds in the Southwestern parts of Aleppo and advanced in Tal al-Bazu, al-Hekma School and housing project 1070 regions.
Also in the Northern parts of Aleppo, the Syrian army and its allies destroyed the ISIL terrorists’ artillery units and military vehicles after killing and wounding tens of militants near the aviation college.
On Wednesday, the Syrian army targeted and destroyed ISIL’s artillery units and military hardware near the Air Force Academy in Southeastern Aleppo, leaving a large number of the militants dead.
“The Syrian army destroyed two technical vehicles of the terrorists equipped with heavy machineguns and also their artillery site near the Aleppo Air Force Academy in Southeastern Aleppo, killing several militants,” an informed military source said.
Also, other Syrian army units destroyed three DshK-equipped military vehicles of the terrorists when they tried to attack the Syrian army’s military positions in the surrounding areas of Aleppo Air Force Academy.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Syrian Army regained control of several points South of the city of Aleppo after delivering heavy blows to the terrorist groups during clashes just outside the city, military sources said.
“The Syrian Army forces and their allies are now in control of several structures in al-Ramouseh, including the municipality buildings and premises of a chemicals factory, after they managed to kick out terrorists from the area,” the sources said.
The Syrian Army success came as fighting rages between army forces and the terrorist groups in the area after militants started targeting the army men with sniper fire and rocket propelled grenades.
